About the company - The company is one of the leading food companies in Kuwait having multitude of distribution network for more than 1800 frozen and chilled foods. The company is the leading importer and distributor of food in Kuwait to the retail and food service sectors. The company carries leading brands and support brand building for the suppliers. It also carries a full line of complementary food service products. The total employee strength is about 850. It is the first Distribution Centre (DC) in the country to have five-level reach trucks, the first to have an Oracle-based warehouse management system (WMS), the first to utilise double-deep racking, and the first to use wireless handhelds to track items all the way from the receiving area to the dispatch area. That all this happens in an environment that is consistently held at -28oC only adds to the impressiveness of the new facility. As the company moves forward it intends to increase the productivity of the distribution centre and turn it into a revenue stream, by allowing other companies to make use of it.

1. To implement the Oracle WMS, and deliver the scope in accordance with the agreed standards
2. To carry out the day-to-day administration of the WMS to ensure continued smooth running of the warehouse operations
3. Streamline and improve the efficiencies of the WMS system and identify and project manage warehouse system improvements.
4. Develop/supervise the development of operating reports from WMS
5. Ensure that staff are trained and familiar with the WMS
6. Co-ordinate between end-users for system delivery
